Srixon ZXi5+ Irons - Steel
The Srixon ZXi5+ Irons combine forged feel with distance and forgiveness in a compact players-distance profile. Compared with ZXi5, the ZXi5+ features longer blade lengths, wider soles, and stronger lofts for added distance and forgiveness while maintaining a confident player's topline.
ZXi5+ combines i-FORGED construction, MainFrame iQ face technology, tungsten weighting, and Srixon's Tour V.T. Sole to deliver speed, feel, and consistent performance throughout the set.
Key Technologies
- i-FORGED: Condensed Forging extends from the high-toe area along the topline to enhance strength, durability, and feel, while softened forged faces further improve impact feel.
- MainFrame iQ: A variable-thickness network of grooves, channels, and notches is precision milled into the back of the face to maximize energy transfer and produce more consistent speed across the face.
- Tour V.T. Sole: A proprietary combination of sole widths, bounce angles, and notches helps the club glide smoothly through fairway, rough, and sand without sacrificing speed through the turf.
- Progressive Grooves: The 3-7 irons feature wider grooves, while the 8-SW use deeper, more closely spaced grooves to enhance spin on approach shots. Laser milling between the grooves adds friction across the set.
- Refined Players Shaping: Developed with input from Srixon's tour staff, the ZXi irons feature a cleaner profile and slightly thinner toplines than the previous generation.
- Precision Forging by Endo: The face and body are forged by Endo in Japan for a premium forged feel.
- Tungsten Weighting: A forged S20C steel body helps absorb vibration, while high-density tungsten weighting in the toe of the long and mid irons helps maintain speed and spin on off-centre strikes.
