Terms & Conditions for Trading In Used Golf Clubs
Effective Date: October 17th 2024
Thank you for choosing to trade in your used golf clubs with Just Golf Stuff CA ("We," "Us," "Our"). By submitting your golf clubs for trade-in, you ("Customer," "You," "Your") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your transaction.
1. Eligibility for Trade-In
1.1 Accepted Clubs
We accept golf clubs from recognized brands, including but not limited to Titleist, Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade, Mizuno, and Cleveland. All clubs we accept are listed in the trade-in program. If there is a product you would like to trade-in that is not listed, please email service@justgolfstuff.com. The clubs must be authentic and verifiable.
1.2 Condition Requirements
All clubs submitted for trade-in must meet the following minimum condition standards:
- The club must be free from any severe damage, including bent shafts, dents, rust, excessive crown or sole wear, missing weights cracked heads, or ripped grips.
- Normal wear and tear (such as scratches, scuffing, or faded paint) is acceptable, but clubs with significant structural defects will not be accepted.
- Clubs that have been modified from their original factory specifications from a loft adjustment of more than 2 degrees or lengthened or shortened by more than 2 inches will not be accepted.
1.3 Non-Acceptable Clubs
We reserve the right to reject any clubs that:
- Are counterfeit or replicas.
- Have undergone non-disclosed alterations or repairs.
- Have been reported lost or stolen.
- Do not meet the condition requirements stated above.
2. Trade-In Process
2.1 Evaluation
Once Your clubs are received, they will undergo a thorough evaluation based on brand, model, condition, and current market demand. Our evaluation process may take up to 7 business days.
2.2 Trade-In Value
The trade-in value offered will be determined solely by Us based on the current market rates for the specific model and condition of the club(s). Our valuation is disclosed in the trade-in process and is final and non-negotiable.
2.3 Inspection Report
We will provide a detailed report of the condition and value of the trade-in once the evaluation is complete. Should You disagree with the valuation, You may request the return of Your clubs (see Section 4.1: Returns).
3. Trade-In Credit
3.1 Store Credit
Once Your trade-in value is determined, You will receive store credit via email that can be used for purchases of any product from Just Golf Stuff CA. Store credit cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another person.
3.2 Expiration of Credit
Store credit does not expire.
3.3 Use of Credit
Store credit may be applied toward any eligible product in Our store, including new clubs, used clubs, apparel, or accessories, unless explicitly stated otherwise during promotional periods.
4. Return of Trade-In Items
4.1 Returns
If You are unsatisfied with the trade-in valuation, You may request the return of Your golf clubs within 7 business days of receiving the valuation report. We will ship the clubs back to You at Your expense, and they will be returned in the same condition in which We received them.
4.2 Forfeiture of Clubs
If You do not request the return of Your clubs within 7 days of receiving the valuation, You forfeit all ownership rights, and the clubs become the property of Just Golf Stuff CA. No subsequent claims or demands can be made.
5. Shipping Policy
5.1 Shipping Your Clubs to Us
You are responsible for shipping your trade-in to our warehouse. Trade-ins less than $150 will incur a $9.99 shipping fee, while trade-ins more than $150 will be free. Just Golf Stuff CA will provide a digital shipping label to ship your item during the trade-in process and any shipping fee will be deducted from your store credit. Shipping fees are not refundable. We are not liable for any loss or damage incurred during transit.
5.2 Condition Upon Arrival
If Your clubs are damaged during shipping to Our facility, We will notify You and may adjust the trade-in valuation or reject the trade-in entirely, depending on the extent of the damage.
5.3 Shipping Time
All trade-in evaluations will be processed within 7 business days of receiving Your clubs. Return shipping, if applicable, may take an additional 7 business days.
6. Ownership and Authenticity
6.1 Proof of Ownership
By submitting clubs for trade-in, You affirm that You are the rightful owner of the clubs and that no third-party claims to ownership exist.
6.2 Authenticity
You affirm that all clubs submitted for trade-in are authentic, unaltered products of the original manufacturer. Counterfeit or fake clubs will be rejected and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
7. Liability
7.1 Loss or Damage
We are not responsible for loss or damage to Your clubs during shipping to or from Our facility unless You have purchased shipping insurance through Us.
7.2 Club Condition Discrepancies
In the event of a dispute regarding the condition of the clubs upon receipt, We will provide photographic evidence and a written report. All decisions made by Our evaluators are final.
7.3 Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall We be liable for any damages, including, but not limited to, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to Your trade-in transaction.
8. Privacy and Data Security
8.1 Customer Information
We will collect personal information, such as Your name, contact details, and address, for the purpose of processing Your trade-in. This information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or to fulfill the trade-in service.
8.2 Data Retention
We will retain Your personal data for as long as necessary to complete the trade-in process and comply with legal obligations.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario.
10. Modifications to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on Our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. It is Your responsibility to review the Terms & Conditions periodically for any updates.
